Author Biography

Taoufik Boulhrir, Al Akhawayn University in Ifrane

 

Taoufik Boulhrir is a professor of language and communication at Al Akhawayn University in Ifrane and an education expert in the UAE. Taoufik’s passion for education and research has led him to actively contribute to teacher training, innovative pedagogy, reading literacy, and 21st-century education. With over 15 years of leadership and teaching experience, he has made significant contributions to the education sector in the United States and the United Arab Emirates.

Taoufik received the prestigious 2015 Abu Dhabi Reads award, acknowledging his commitment to research-based practices in reading and literacy. As a strong advocate for educational technology, independent learning, and student-centered pedagogy, he endeavors to create learning environments that foster intrinsic motivation and encourage lifelong learning.

Currently, he is involved in research projects focused on investigating Arabic language education and Artificial Intelligence in education.
