Влияние обмена текстовыми сообщениями на глубину и объем лексического запаса студентов, изучающих английский язык
Аннотация
Использование технологий в условиях учебной аудитории может стать эффективным способом изучения иностранного языка. Словарный запас считается одним из важных навыков для определения успеваемости учащегося в различных условиях учебной и внеучебной деятельности. В данной работе исследовалось влияние обмена текстовыми сообщениями на знание лексики и объем словарного запаса учащихся с помощью мобильного обучения. После проведения Оксфордского теста на определение уровня владения языком для исследования было отобрано 37 обучающихся английскому языку. Перед началом обучения в качестве предварительных тестов были проведены тест словесных ассоциаций (WAT) и тест на расширение словарного запаса. Учащиеся получали по шесть словарных статей, выбранных из учебника, с помощью SMS-сообщений три раза в неделю в дополнение к занятиям в классе. После завершения курса обучения тесты WAT и на расширение словарного запаса были проведены повторно как пост-тесты, чтобы оценить достижения учащихся и эффективность курса. Поскольку нормальность распределения данных не была подтверждена, для сравнения средних значений был использован тест Уилкоксона. Результаты показали отсутствие значимых различий между предварительным и последующим тестированием по показателям глубины словарного запаса, в то время как по показателям расширения словарного запаса разница была статистически значимой. Таким образом, можно утверждать, что обмен текстовыми сообщениями как вид мобильного обучения оказал значительное влияние на расширение словарного запаса учащихся. Разработчики учебных программ и преподаватели EFL могут извлечь пользу из результатов данного исследования, учитывая важность текстовых сообщений для обучения различным аспектам лексики.
