Взаимосвязь между выгоранием и самоэффективностью у мужчин и женщин, преподающих английский язык как иностранный в Иране
Аннотация
Преподавание — это работа, характеризующаяся высокой степенью выгорания. Выгорание преподавателей широко изучалось в связи с другими важными психологическими качествами, такими как воспринимаемая самоэффективность. Однако у преподавателей английского языка как иностранного эта связь сравнительно мало изучена, что обусловило цель настоящего исследования: а) изучить взаимосвязь между степенью воспринимаемой самоэффективности у иранских преподавателей английского языка как иностранного и степенью их профессионального выгорания; б) выяснить, может ли половая принадлежность существенно влиять на степень выгорания преподавателей. В исследовании приняли участие 80 мужчин и женщин — преподавателей английского языка как иностранного в Иране в нескольких средних школах в Исфахане, отобранных методом удобной выборки. Испытуемым были предложены опросник выгорания у педагогов, разработанный К. Маслач, и модифицированная версия шкалы самоэффективности преподавателя. Для анализа данных было проведено полуструктурированное интервью с 15 преподавателями. Корреляционный анализ и t-тест показали, что между самоэффективностью участников и степенью их выгорания существует значительная отрицательная корреляция. Было установлено, что половая принадлежность также влияет на уровень выгорания преподавателей: преподаватели-женщины имели более низкую степень выгорания. Последующее интервью подтвердило эту взаимосвязь и выявило три основных проявления выгорания: умственная усталость, избегание контактов и стресс от необходимости объяснять причины выгорания. В статье также обсуждается возможное применение полученных данных на уровне администрации школ и преподавателей.
