(Philology), Prof., Head of the English Linguistics Department at the Lomonosov Moscow State University, is the Editorial Board member of «Izvestiya Yuzhnogo federalnogo universiteta», the Editorial Board member of «Vestnik Moskovskogo lingvisticheskogo instituta», the member of Fédération Internationale des Professeurs de Langues Vivantes (FIPLV), the Chairman of the Expert Council of the Higher Attestation Commission on Philology and Art History under the Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation, the author of 37 books and 137 articles, with her fields of study covering cognitive-discursive peculiarities of speech in different registers and styles, the language of the Internet, grammatical processes in the modern English language, the English language in the modern world, problems of language and culture, contrastive aspects of English and Russian languages.
