Роль системы английских артиклей в развитии диалогического контекста: взгляд российских исследователей
Аннотация
"В международной научной коммуникации часто возникает проблема употребления нулевого, неопределенного и определенного артиклей в английском языке. Существующие педагогические подходы успешно используются для изучения системы английских артиклей на продвинутом этапе обучения языку, однако на этапе свободного владения тонкости употребления артиклей на занятиях по английскому как иностранному/английскому для академических целей, особенно студентам, в чьем родном языке (например, русском) отсутствует система артиклей, объяснить достаточно сложно. В этой связи целью настоящей работы является разработка концептуального подхода к использованию артиклей, основанного на рассмотрении развития контекста в научной коммуникации. Обзор литературы по некоторым существующим теоретическим подходам показывает четкое развитие от семантических и трансформационно-грамматических установок к более прагматическим экспликативным стратегиям, основанным на диалогической коммуникации. Качественный контент-анализ ошибок, встречающихся в текстах научных статей, написанных российскими учеными и исправленных редактором-носителем английского языка, выявил наличие девяти основных типов ошибок, среди которых наиболее распространенным было употребление нулевого артикля с единичными именными группами вместо определенного артикля (SxØ√D). Именные группы в предложениях, содержащих ошибки в употреблении артикля, также были оценены в соответствии с типологией семантических функций именных групп Бикертона, теорией местоположения Хокинса и основными типами Лю и Глисона. Гипотеза о том, что российские ученые с высоким уровнем образования в целом склонны к избыточному употреблению the, a и an, компенсируя тенденцию менее образованных русских ученых опускать артикли в английском языке, не подтвердилась результатами контент-анализа. Анализ типов ошибок в употреблении артиклей, встречающихся в различных разделах IMRaD, показал, что ошибки, связанные с избыточным и недостаточным употреблением определенного артикля the, особенно характерны для раздела ""Введение"". Однако наибольшее количество ошибок, связанных с артиклями, было обнаружено в разделе «Обсуждение», где ошибка SxØ√D значительно преобладает над другими типами ошибок по сравнению с другими разделами. Поскольку существующие концептуальные подходы к объяснению функций английской системы артиклей не дают полного представления о проблеме, необходимо разработать комплексную систему. Авторы рекомендуют диалоговый подход к обучению английской системе артиклей для неносителей языка в контексте научной коммуникации."
