Проблемы классного руководства учителей английского языка как иностранного на примере индонезийских сельских средних школ

Аннотация

В связи со сравнительно небольшим количеством исследований, посвященных классному руководству учителей, преподающих английский язык как иностранный в индонезийских сельских средних школах, данное исследование направлено на изучение участия учителей в проблемах классного руководства и того, в какой степени они справляются с этими проблемами. Данные были собраны путем проведения интервью с учителями в течение трех месяцев. Затем полученные данные были подвергнуты нарративному анализу. Результаты показывают, что учителя сталкиваются с такими многогранными сложностями, как: а) недостаток электрифицированных учебных помещений; б) демотивация учеников и их неспособность использовать английский язык; в) дилеммы учителей при применении новой учебной программы. Для решения этих проблем учителя использовали: а) подход, ориентированный на учителя; б) групповое обучение; в) расположение учащихся в ряд; г) неинтегрированное обучение языковым навыкам. В конце статьи обсуждаются возможности применения результатов данного исследования.
