Говорение и уровень тревожности китайских учащихся, изучающих английский язык как иностранный, в формате личных сообщений и в синхронизированном голосовом чате
Аннотация
В последнее время, когда мобильные технологии переживают бурное развитие, необходимо изучить, могут ли они повысить уровень владения английским языком у учащихся с помощью приложений для мгновенного обмена сообщениями в режиме синхронизированного голосового чата (СГЧ). Цель данного исследования, посвященного обучению китайских студентов английскому языку как иностранному, заключалась в сравнении их разговорной речи в режимах СГЧ и личного чата. Также представлена взаимосвязь между разговорной речью учащихся и уровнем тревожности в этих двух режимах чата, которые позволяют общаться в режиме реального времени. В исследовании были применены смешанные методы. В качестве платформы СГЧ использовалось приложение WeChat. В течение 4 недель в 4 сеансах чата в режимах СГЧ и личной переписки принимали участие 40 студентов из китайского государственного университета. Количественные данные были собраны с помощью оценок устных ответов участников в чатах и анкет тревожности. Затем были получены качественные данные на основе опроса фокус-группы. Полученные результаты выявили значительную разницу в разговорной речи учащихся в чатах СГЧ и личной переписке. Устная речь студентов была лучше в СГЧ-чате по сравнению с личным чатом. Это может быть связано с уровнем страха перед языком студентов, который был немного выше в личных сообщениях. Несмотря на это, большинство студентов предпочли личные сообщения способу общения в СГЧ.
