Направленные мотивационные потоки (DMC) в самостоятельном изучении языка: интерпретативный феноменологический анализ

Аннотация

Направленные мотивационные потоки (DMC) представляют собой новую мотивационную конструкцию в исследованиях по овладению иностранным языком и позволяют объяснить периоды интенсивного и продолжительного поведения, направленного на достижение высоко ценимой цели или идеи. Тем не менее, большая часть исследований, связанных с этим новым мотивационным феноменом, оставалась теоретической, и было проведено лишь ограниченное количество эмпирических исследований, посвященных изучению различных аспектов этого явления в изучении языка. В данном качественном исследовании использовался интерпретативный феноменологический анализ (IPA) для изучения периода сильной мотивации, которую испытал изучавший иностранный язык иранец в процессе самостоятельного изучения языка с помощью мобильных устройств. Результаты исследования дали дополнительные эмпирические доказательства того, что стимул и основные характеристики DMC, такие как ориентированность на цель/видение, явно благоприятная структура и позитивная эмоциональность, объясняют суть и смысл феномена, который испытал участник данного исследования.
